Eye catching stabilised performance
ICI Imagedata will be demonstrating its Stabilex Ultra range of thermally stabilised films at the Printed Electronics Show and Conference in Dresden, Germany. This follows a successful launch at the USA Show in San Jose, which created much international interest and several firm orders.
ICI Imagedata's unique purpose-built film stabilisation plant and technologically advanced manufacturing process for thermal stabilization, ensures that the finished film will meet the needs of the most demanding printed electronics applications where it's essential to have a high level of dimensional stability at elevated temperatures. The process also allows for corrections to curvature or skew, so that the master rolls coming off the manufacturing line run straight and true.
The Stabilex Range comprises Clear, White, Translucent and Optically Pure Films, making them ideal for a wide variety of components for general electronics, medical and visual applications.
With electronic displays and photovoltaic cells, it is vital that light is transmitted efficiently without loss or scatter. Stabilex Ultra Optically Pure Film provides excellent light transmission with a haze of less than 0.5%. What is more, because the ICI Imagedata manufacturing process uses a cushion of air to transport the film, the risk of microscratching is virtually eliminated.
Stabilex Ultra Films are available, plain or pre-treated, in a range of different thicknesses - in master roll, slit reel or sheet formats.
