SENSOREE Bio.Media Design Lab attends Printed Electronics Europe
SENSOREE (Printed Circuits, Booth #C115) attends Printed Electronics
2012 Conference and Tradeshow in Berlin, Germany. During the
conference, they'll be presenting an overview of their ResponsWear™ prototypes and plan to create the new market of Sensitive Technology Fashions at the Investor Summit. They will also be demonstrating their key ResponsWear™ prototypes: the Mood Sweater™ and FURVER Bio.Lumen.
Products on Display
- Mood Sweater™: emotive fashion that interprets mood and displays emotions instantly as an interactive light display. The sensors that are used are a Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) and temperature.
- FURVER Bio.Lumen: a tele-gestural fashion that defines personal space through tentacles that extend from ultraviolet (UV) light pods when someone gets too close. The UV light also illuminates and can sterilize bacteria, so the bio.lumen keeps the personal space germ-free! The copper mesh is a form of armor as it shields the body from EMFs.
- The BREATHING WALL: an interactive tunnel constructed of recycled plastic bags, which responds to human movement with bio-luminescent light displays and inflatable pockets. Infrared motion sensors respond to presence or touch by inflating pockets with fans and glowing UV lights.
In this way, every interaction promotes an architectural dialog, that evokes beauty and wonder.
SENSOREE Bio.Media Lab, a worldwide leader in creating future concepts and interactive products for the entertainment and therapeutic purposes, and thera-tainment industries. They design wearable technology and interactive installations. Sensitive technology and therapeutic bio-media creates external nervous systems that inspire body awareness, spontaneity, insight, and fun! This is called the Sensory Computer Interface (SCI) — where they investigate proximity, intimacy, telepathy, intuition, and humor between human and machine.
SENSOREE has shown their prototypes at art exhibits and technical conferences from Atelie de CiberCostura at The Mostra Sesc de Artes 2010 (a city-wide art exhibit in Sao Paulo, Brazil) to
International Symposium on Wearable Computers (ISWC) 2011 to Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012. Their Mood Sweater™ will be on a two year, touring, exhibit as part of Futurotextiles 3.
