The following statement gives the IDTechEx privacy practices for all products and services operated by IDTechEx, including but not limited to events, websites, journals and newsletters.

 

We use "cookies" on our websites to store information about the attendee/user, to enable a more personalized experience of the site. We may share your personal information with our affiliates and partners and third parties licensed to access your personal information, such as by renting email or address lists.

 

When attending our events or access some web services, attendees/users are required to provide pertinent information such as name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number etc. We also collect demographic information (such as job title and responsibilities, areas of activity, and company information). We use this information to communicate with users and provide requested services, as well as to improve service, for marketing purposes and/or industry reporting purposes.

 

At our discretion, we are able to support attendees requiring a VISA for travel by writing a supporting letter, where a deposit for an event is paid first. This will be refunded should the VISA application be unsuccessful. Information will be shared with the sponsoring body.

 

IDTechEx reserve the right to share full attendee information with the attendee's organization (such as attendee's company, sponsor, academic institute/university etc).

 

In addition, IDTechEx will disclose your personal information as necessary to: (a) comply with a court order or other legal process; (b) protect our rights or property; or (c) enforce our terms of service and policy.
