Graphene and Carbon Nanotubes

In a previous premium article we gave a beginner's guide to 6G communications. 6G will start to replace 5G from about 2030 onwards. This is because 5G will be insufficiently responsive, ubiquitous or capable for the needs emerging at that time.

An international research team has demonstrated a novel process to modify the structure and properties of graphene, a one atom thick carbon. This chemical reaction, known as photocycloaddition, modifies the bonds between atoms using ultraviolet light.
