Webinar 13 September - Graphene and Carbon Nanotube Commercialization

REPORT: IoT Low Power Wireless Networks and 5G
Webinar Title: Graphene and Carbon Nanotube (CNT) Commercialization: Past, Present and Future
Date: Thursday 13 September
Presenter: Dr Khasha Ghaffarzadeh, Research Director, IDTechEx

Space is limited - reserve your seat today!

Graphene is not a young material: the Noble Prize was awarded in 2010 and the first pioneering firms were established before that c. 2006. Graphene thus has more than a decade of commercial experience already. After all this time, graphene is finally becoming increasingly available and affordable and is finally finding its first wave of volume markets. Indeed, we estimate that the 2020-2022 period will be the time in which graphene industry finally enters into its volume expansion phase.

In this webinar, we will look at the evolution of graphene commercialization so far and will offer some insights about the future. In particular, we will discuss:
  • Ideal vs real graphene on the market
  • Production capacity globally by company, territory and production method
  • Prices
  • Applicable pipeline and successful commercial examples
  • Different phases of the commercialization process
  • Company revenue growth and industry profit/loss
  • Ten-year market projections segmented by application

Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have been around much longer than graphene. They share many similarities, therefore it is always instructive to learn about how the commercialising process of this material unfolded and is unfolding.

In this webinar, we will consider:
  • Ideal vs realistic carbon nanotubes
  • Range of CNT prices depending on type from SWCNT to MWCNT
  • Cost learning curve of MWCNT and future price projections
  • Application pipeline
  • Evolution of accumulated global MWCNT from 2006 to now
  • Conclusions

The contents of this webinar are based on the new IDTechEx report Graphene, 2D Materials and Carbon Nanotubes: Markets, Technologies and Opportunities 2018-2028.

NEW! We will be holding exactly the same webinar three times in one day. Please register for whichever session is most convenient for you.
