"Printed sensors" covers a wide array of technologies, ranging from infra-red image sensors to pressure sensitive pads, and from strain sensors to glucose test strips. This webinar, presented by IDTechEx Technology Analyst Dr Matthew Dyson, will introduce the motivation for printed sensors, and highlight some key trends and innovations in this diverse landscape. This includes how printing can enable SWIR imaging for autonomous vehicles at an affordable price, and why we might be squeezing as well as swiping our electronic devices in future. Emerging technologies and applications in printed gas, temperature and strain sensors, along with wearable electrodes, will also be discussed.
Specifically, this webinar includes:
- A detailed look at the technologies underpinning printed image and piezoresistive sensors
- An assessment of the technological readiness level of competing technologies
- Discussion of existing and emerging applications
- Identification of technological challenges and innovation opportunities
This webinar shares some of the research from the new IDTechEx report, "Printed and Flexible Sensors 2020-2030: Technologies, Players, Forecasts".
We will be holding exactly the same webinar three times in one day. Please register for the session most convenient for you.
