Next week the 8th annual IDTechEx Printed Electronics USA event opens at the Santa Clara Convention Center in CA, USA, on Nov 30 - Dec 1.
Pre-registrations are 22% higher compared to this point last year and the number of exhibitors has grown by 19%. Pre-registered attendees are coming from 29 countries, with a particularly large contingent from Korea, Japan and Taiwan. Attendees are also coming from afar as China, Australia, India, South Africa and all over Europe.
This IDTechEx event, along with the others in the series (The European Printed Electronics event will be in Berlin, Germany on April 3-4 2012), focuses strongly on the commercialization of printed electronics. "We are very excited at the diverse range of end user organizations attending," says Raghu Das, CEO of the analyst and event host firm IDTechEx. "Our agenda covers many different end user vertical markets, which has attracted organizations as diverse as DHL, P&G, Nike, Boeing, Microsoft, Estee Lauder, Pepsico and many many more."
Indeed, the combined total sales of presenting companies is over half a trillion dollars - $620 Billion to be precise.
Live Demonstrations and free samples for every attendee
Key to adoption of the technology is understanding what can be done now and what is coming. "Demonstration Street" helps you to understand what is possible by showcasing working samples of printed electronics from around the world. It is the largest collection of working printed electronics products and demonstrators under one roof. In addition, all attendees will receive free working samples - including a functional printed sensors and display.
