Being one of the analysts at IDTechEx, I have been in the enviable position to track some of the most exciting game-changing innovations from around the world. Each week we come across brilliant new technologies from companies and research institutes and it is with delight that we can write about them in this journal and have some present at our international events. Now we want to do more: we want to help such enterprises showcase their products to the audiences of our events - which are typically the largest in the world on the topic. I believe this will also add great value to attendees to interact not only with the large range of impressive exhibitors present but see, for the first time, the latest and greatest.
I'm pleased to announced that we will therefore be adding a new initiative to our Printed Electronics event this November 18-19 in the heart of silicon valley - the IDTechEx Launchpad. This will provide the opportunity for researchers and young companies to demonstrate their state-of-the-art technologies to over 3,000 people at this international event. It is FREE for eligible researchers and companies to participate. Spaces are limited to 10 organizations, which will be featured in the exhibition hall, alongside an estimated 200 exhibitors.
Participants should be early-stage start-ups, universities, newly spun-out companies, research labs and government labs who will be demonstrating a working prototype or product that highlights new advances in a relevant product. Each entry will be judged based on the demonstrator proposed to be shown, with a deadline for submission being September 8th 2015.
Winners will receive a free space at the IDTechEx Launchpad zone, giving them access to 3,000 attendees, many at CXO level. Over 100 members of the press will be present. Launch your technology here - apply now before the September 8th deadline at www.idtechex.com/printed-electronics-usa/launchpad.asp
