IDTechEx appoints new Senior Technology Analyst

IDTechEx offers independent market research, business intelligence and advice on emerging technologies to companies across the value chain, supporting them in making essential strategic business decisions. IDTechEx have recently strengthened their research capabilities by appointing a new Senior Technology Analyst, Dr Wendy Kneissl.
Dr Kneissl is a physicist with a background spanning both academe and industry. Holding a PhD from the University of Cambridge, she has also undertaken research with the Max-Planck Society in Germany and at the R&D centers of Schlumberger Oilfield Services and Korean conglomerate Doosan.
She has invented and commercialized a number of technologies within the energy industries, and has also undertaken market research and technology scouting activities. She is a former Director of the Electricity Policy Forum at the University of Cambridge and remains a Senior Member of Wolfson College Cambridge. She holds an advanced Diploma in Economics from the London School of Economics and Politics.
