In May 2007, two Chinese universities reported on their discoveries in OLED lighting and displays. They were Hong Kong Baptist University and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. We have already reported on work at East China University of Science and Technology in our news piece "Printed Electronics in China".
On May 20-25 2007, in the conference 2007 SID INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM, Long Beach California, the following was presented:
Highly Efficient White Organic Light-Emitting Devices
Mei-Fang Lin, Hong Kong Baptist University
Bipolar Carrier Transport in Organic Small Molecules for OLEDs Shu So, Hong Kong Baptist University Kowloon, Hong Kong
